The NAMI Sonoma County Warmline is the "front door" to local resources, information, and confidential emotional support in Sonoma County.

The Warmline specializes in the concerns of people with mental health challenges, their families, and friends. Anyone who feels like they need to talk to someone who is supportive, non-judgmental, and understanding can call us.

The Warmline is designed to provide helpful information and emotional support. Most help-seekers call about issues related to the following topics:

  • Getting help for mental health challenges (for yourself or a loved one)
  • Why getting a diagnosis is important
  • Help finding appropriate local services
  • What to look for in a provider
  • How to help someone who is hospitalized
  • How to help someone who has been arrested
  • Where to start looking for housing
  • Help with concerns about patient rights
  • Understanding local crisis resources

Warmline calls are kept anonymous and confidential. If there is a topic we do not have the expertise or capacity to discuss, we will do our best to refer you to a service or provider that can help.
